In anticipation of the Petrolia 150 celebrations in 2024, Black Gold Brewery proudly announces its collaboration with the Petrolia 150 Committee, offering an innovative tribute to the town’s rich heritage.
Nestled in the heart of Petrolia, Black Gold Brewery stands as a cornerstone of the community, known for its diverse array of craft beers. Since its establishment in late 2020, the brewery has consistently promoted the town’s heritage. Previously partnering with organizations like the United Way, and now unveiling a collectible 8-pack to celebrate its hometown pride.
Steering away from traditional fuel, Black Gold Brewery has crafted a unique series of labels, inspired by the town’s history, for its flagship beer, Liquid Gold. The P E T R O L I A label collection showcases an exclusive range of historic images, each honoring Petrolia’s storied past.
The Petrolia 150 Committee plans to showcase these special brews during community events in 2024, making them available at Victoria Hall’s bar as well. Denise Thibeault, Chairperson of the Petrolia 150 Committee, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Partnering with our hometown brewery to create this collectible product, featuring historical narratives on each can, was an exceptional opportunity. It’s a perfect gift!”
The much-anticipated collection launch is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Black Gold Brewery. Both entities eagerly await the arrival of Petrolia enthusiasts, history aficionados, and beer connoisseurs alike. The event promises live music, exclusive door prizes (including the latest Petrolia 150 merchandise), light refreshments, and the chance to be among the first to celebrate this exciting collaboration.
