It’s time for a party!

What is more exciting than a birthday party (when you’re young enough that you still count them)?  A birthday party with beer (when you’re old enough you can have one)!

On November 12, Black Gold Brewery, Petrolia’s Alternative Fuel, is turning 1!  Yes – everything we have done, all the great beers we have made (over 25!), all of the great times we’ve shared, all of the great events – all in just one year since we opened our doors.

To celebrate, we’re going to do what we always do – serve up the best craft beer around!  On November 12th, in addition to launching an anniversary beer, we’ll be having our very popular fresh pretzels available and there’ll be live music!  Having it fall on a Friday is sure to help the festivities.

Mug Club Members

As we try to with all of our new beers, we are offering our BGB395 Mug Club members an opportunity to stop in and try the new beer before it gets released.  If you are a BGB395 member, you’re invited to stop by on Tuesday, November 9th and Wednesday, November 10th to try a free sample of our anniversary beer, a Belgian Dubbel that we’re calling “First of Many” – not only the first of many anniversaries we’ll have but hopefully the sample you have will be the first of many!
